At my place of business we’re gearing up to deploy Redhat Enterprise Virtualization for Servers 2.2, and, as such, I had to read the Administration Guide. 200+ pages of technical information. Not the most entertaining read, but highly informative. Civilian Supercomputing: BOINC

Usually when we think of supercomputers, we probably think about large, noisy computers with arrays of blinking lights somewhere in a distant lab. Something like WOPR from War Games, I’ll bet. That’s not far off, as the supercomputers of today are still very big devices.
